Work Hub
Work Hub brings team projects, tasks and work requests together in Shamel. Start with a goal such as opening a branch or preparing an event, then share the work and follow execution and review.
Start with a project or a template
- Open Work Hub and go to Projects to create a project, or Templates to choose a starter plan.
- Preview the plan, choose a start date and name the project. Suggested dates are relative to the start date.
- Create the project and review its tasks, descriptions and dates. Every project owns its independent copy.
- Choose participants and assign tasks to eligible users; starter plans do not assign owners automatically.
Choose how to follow work
Authorized users can configure stages, fields and completion/review requirements. Review the project settings before relying on a move into the completed stage.
- Boards show tasks by stage.
- Tables help review and sort task details.
- Calendars show dated work.
- Subtasks, comments and attachments keep execution steps and context together.
Use the starter plans
A template is an editable starting point. Dates are suggestions; your team remains responsible for assignments and checking requirements.
- Weekly team follow-up.
- New branch opening.
- Event or festival preparation.
- New employee onboarding.
- Product or seasonal menu launch.
- Improvement and issue resolution.
Follow work requests
Work requests follow submission, review, assignment and execution according to their type and settings. Choose the location and required details, then follow owners, dates and notes in the request.
Completion may require a note, image or review. Operational requests retain their location and permission scope; project tasks do not change batch records or production procedures.
Check access and permissions
Work Hub requires a company plan that supports it and the appropriate permissions. Separate project creation, participant management and configuration from task execution and review according to team responsibilities.
If an expected action is missing, check the user's role, project membership and permitted locations.
