Create and follow batches
A batch records real production: product, quantity, location, batch number, dates and quality state.
Create a batch
- Open Batches and create a batch.
- Choose a recipe or No Recipe.
- For a recipe, choose the available version and quantity.
- Enter production time and review calculated expiry.
- Choose an allowed destination location.
- Save to begin quality and approval.
Batch number and quantity
Shamel creates a batch number and records quantity and unit. Scaling uses recipe output and compatible units when the recipe is published and complete.
States and approval
- Recipe questions appear at the relevant stage.
- Chef and manager review may be required by the approval mode.
- A rejection records the reason and appears in related violations and reports.
- Accepted batches proceed to receipt, follow-up and printing as applicable.
Partial transfer
Expiry Monitoring can reserve part of available quantity for another branch. Acceptance creates the received part with original batch data; rejection releases the reserved quantity.
