Expiry monitoring and transfers
Expiry Monitoring shows available and reserved quantity, expiry time and batch status.
Read status
- Valid: still within shelf life.
- Today or this week: included by the selected filter.
- Expired: past recorded expiry.
- Pending transfer: quantity is reserved for receiving.
Record an outcome
- Choose a batch.
- Use Renew for a new expiry, Sold for sale, or Dispose with quantity and reason.
- Review the updated status and available balance.
Partial transfer
- Choose Transfer to branch.
- Select destination and enter a positive amount within available quantity.
- The amount becomes reserved.
- Acceptance creates the received quantity with original batch data.
- Rejection returns reserved quantity and records a rejected transfer.
Violations
An expired batch without an outcome can appear as a violation.
