Work Hub

Turn a goal worth following up on into work your team can deliver.

Work Hub is Shamel’s workspace for projects, tasks and work requests. It brings plans, ownership, due dates and activity history together for restaurant managers, café teams, branches and head office.

A plan you can act on

Bring tasks serving one goal into a project and make the next steps clear before work starts.

Ownership you can follow

Set an owner and due date. Use comments and attachments to understand what changed and what needs a decision.

Completion you can review

Configure completion requirements and reviews when work needs evidence before it can be considered done.

The meeting starts the plan. Follow-through finishes it.

For an event, agree on the goal, distribute preparation work, then keep progress and lessons together in the project.

  1. Start with a goal

Create a project or choose a starter plan, pick a start date and adjust the proposed work.

  2. Share the work

Break work into tasks and subtasks, then choose participants, owners and due dates.

  3. Follow progress

Use a board, table or calendar and keep updates and attachments with the task they belong to.

  4. Review the outcome

Record completion and review work that needs approval, according to project settings and team permissions.

The details stay with the work.

Connected projects and tasks

Group opening, event or recurring follow-up work into a project. Use subtasks to make execution steps clear.

Boards, tables and calendars

Use a board for stages, a table for details and a calendar for dates. Choose the view that fits and save its settings.

Project-specific stages and fields

Configure stages and fields for the information your team needs instead of putting every detail in the task title.

Requests between teams

Submit work requests and follow review, assignment and execution. Operational requests retain their location and access boundaries.

Comments, attachments and history

Keep updates, images and files with the work they describe, so the context behind a decision is available during review.

Configurable access and automation

Separate project creation, management, execution and review permissions. Configure supported reminders or recurrence to suit the work.

Start with real steps. Make the plan your own.

Before you start with Work Hub

What is Shamel Work Hub?

Work Hub is a workspace within Shamel for projects, tasks and work requests. It brings owners, due dates, stages, comments and attachments together to help restaurant teams organize execution and follow-up.

Can I use it for a new branch opening or an event?

Yes. Built-in plans cover branch openings and events, as well as weekly follow-up, onboarding, product launches and improvement. Choose a start date and adjust the tasks and dates to fit your plan.

Does Work Hub support Arabic and English?

Yes. Work Hub supports Arabic and English interfaces, with starter plans in both languages. Projects can be viewed as boards, tables or calendars.

Does every team member have the same permissions?

No. Project creation, participant management and configuration permissions can be separated from task execution and review. Access also depends on project membership, location scope and the company plan.

How is a project task different from a work request?

A project task organizes a step in a plan such as opening or training. A work request follows submission, review, assignment and execution according to its type and settings, while preserving location and permission boundaries.

How do I know if my plan includes Work Hub?

Check the plans page or request a demo to discuss the right option for your team. Feature availability and access depend on the company plan and permissions; creating an account does not unlock every Work Hub capability.
